We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are ready to aggressively advocate for injured workers. The ideal candidate for the Workers’ Compensation attorney position will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in New Jersey workers’ compensation law as well as experience in both defense litigation and worker’s compensation. The candidate should have experience reviewing medical records, bureau documents, and drafting legal briefs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trial depositions
- Draft legal briefs.
- Manage hearings and take testimony.
- Travel as necessary to conduct discoveries and for court appearances.
Background & Experience
- Ability to craft legal briefs that are appropriately targeted to their audience with a compelling story that lead to favorable motions.
- Demonstrable track record for successfully litigating cases.
- Relatable and team player with experience building successful working relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
- Reviewing and analyzing medical claims.
- Successfully manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Strong legal research and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be licensed, and in good standing, to practice law in Pennsylvania.
- Pennsylvania Bar and WC experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be admitted to the State Bar of New Jersey.
- Must have active New Jersey State Bar membership in good standing.
- Must have Juris Doctor degree.
- Should have 2-5 years of experience as an Attorney.
